BSIDE 4 BUSHFIRE RELIEF
As the bushfires rage on across our country, we all want to do our part to assist those in need.
BSIDE Gallery will be hosting a fundraising silent auction featuring works by more than 50 local and international visual artists, curated by Ariana Leane & Jaz Mshap, proudly supported by Young Henrys, Milkbar and S M L XL Fine Art Print Studio.
All profits from artwork sales and any cash donations raised from this eclectic collection of original canvases, sculptures, illustrations, photography and prints will go towards the following 4 charities:

PUEBLO DE PERROS
Solo exhibition by Jerome Rush
'Pueblo de Perros' is a reflective exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Jerome Rush, marking his time spent in Argentina during February 2019.
Featuring pen and ink drawings, collages, and video art, Jerome Rush's vivid works takes the viewer on a colourful journey into Bariloche life.
Join us for the opening from 6-9pm this Friday 7th February at BSIDE Gallery, Level 1 121 Brunswick St, Fitzroy, proudly supported by Haymes Paint and Gage Roads Brewing Co.
The exhibition is open for viewing from Wednesday 5th February until Sunday 16th February.

HER exhibition + book launch
Cihan Bektas
BSIDE Gallery proudly presents award-winning photographer Cihan Bektas with his exhibition and book launch 'HER: Volume 2', opening 6pm Friday the 13th of November.
"The images of this project are staged recreations of my love's own world. The series aims to show her that I can still see her, even when she's momentarily in a different world.
I photographed her with the intention of demonstrating impersonal personality (schizophrenia). This is not only because I wanted to take images that mimic visual memory, but I also wanted the photos to be accessible to the viewer.
While photographing with polaroid film, it had the effect of not thinking about freezing or being suspicious that it would be the only one before it disappeared." - Cihan Bektas
